About the Factory

The Factory is a space for arts and enterprise, a platform for launching new creative businesses, and an agency for emerging talent. Factory is a bridge to industry, a place where emerging creatives can develop their practice, explore their ambitions, refine and deliver new products and services to market.

We believe that engagement in the creative process is a powerful force for social change, and that creative entrepreneurship is a productive and life changing opportunity for practitioners and their communities.

The Factory introduces emerging creative talent to the business world by building relationships, allowing them to work on real jobs for real clients through co- production with industry professionals as well as developing their own products and services. Offering start up advice, mentoring, short courses and commercial opportunity, Factory is an innovative model supporting the economic growth of young people, assisting them to develop careers and small businesses in the creative and cultural industries.
